Since 2023, I have been working as a freelance tour guide at the Musée des Mines Luxembourg, offering guided tours in multiple languages to both public and private groups. For me, being a guide is not just about sharing knowledge—it’s a way of transmitting stories and experiences, almost like a performance, where I aim to engage and inspire every participant. These tours are a great opportunity to explore the rich history of the mining industry in Luxembourg. You can either book a personalized tour (where you can specify in the reservation form that you would like me to be your guide) or join me during one of the upcoming public tours.
The language of the tour will be chosen based on the majority of participants, but don’t worry if it’s not a language you understand. Audio guides are available to ensure everyone can follow along. As someone who speaks several languages, I do my best to make sure all guests feel comfortable and understood.
In addition to my work at the Musée des Mines, I have also received training as a guide for Visit Minett, where I’m a guide since 2024. There I do mainly trails like from Belval to Ellergronn. Moreover I occasionally conduct tours in Luxembourg City and the Frider Burda Museum in Baden-Baden.
In 2026 I became a freelance guide at the Musée de la Résistance, where you can learn more about the Second World War in Luxembourg. Tours can be booked at MNR Luxembourg.
Furthermore, as a member of Geschichtsfrënn Bartreng since 2023, I offer guided tours of the town of Bertrange, the St Peter and Paul Church and the Maison Schauwenburg, public ones and on demand.
Bertrange et la guerre : Exhibition about World War II in Bertrange
In October 2025, Geschichtsfrënn Bartreng organized a temporary exhibition at Maison Schauwenburg about Bertrange during World War II, where I guided school classes in the mornings and offered public tours in the evenings.
I look forward to sharing all these unique cultural and historical experiences with you!
