Description
Clara celebrates her twenty-sixth birthday in a small circle, together with her sister Aveline, short Ava, her close friend Thomas and his reserved partner, Noa. A peaceful evening full of laughter, shared memories and intimate conversations. But something lurks beneath the pretty surface. Stealthy, barely tangible, but inevitable. And little by little, what seemed clear becomes increasingly unclear. An evening that changes everything. Only one thing becomes obvious: the discrepancies between what we experience and what we believe we experience.
Background of the project
- The project had its first public presentation on 19 December 2025 at the Hoftheater Alfter as part of my Bachelor’s project in PerformArt.
- It was subsequently performed on 19 January 2026 at the Contra-Kreis-Theater in Bonn.
- For Theaternacht Bonn 2026, Schuld was presented in the Kuppelsaal of Thalia Bookstore with a brand-new cast.
The aim of the project is to continue developing and presenting Schuld beyond these initial performances, expanding its artistic reach, engaging new audiences, and further deepening its creative impact.
