Selected emerged visual works

The works were created during the Franco-German theatre project exploring identity and exile.

While echoing the theatrical work, the pieces can also be considered independently from the performance. They retain traces of movement and of the physical transformation of their support: during the performance, the paper was notably crumpled, giving the works a three-dimensional quality that bears witness to the performative action.

This selection highlights two central aspects of the project: the interdisciplinary dialogue between performing and visual arts, and the importance of the pictorial process in the creation of the works.
